We’re looking for a dependable Podcast Sound Tech to support recordings for our internal show and client podcast productions. This is an on-site, contract role.
About the Role
As our Sound Tech, you’ll support live recording sessions by ensuring audio quality and proper file management. You’ll collaborate with the Studio Manager and Audio Editor to keep sessions smooth and professional.
No editing required.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests and assist with mic/headphone setup
- Verify equipment and recording setup pre-session
- Monitor audio levels during recording
- Identify and communicate issues in real time
- Save, label, organize, and back up multitrack files
- Deliver files to the Audio Editor using our process
- Reset the studio for the next session

Pay and Schedule
- $40 per hour
- 2-hour minimum per session ($80 minimum)
- Sessions scheduled in advance
- Days and times vary
- Flexible availability preferred
